Assessment of Physical and Emotional Wellbeing of Medical Students using SF-36 Questionnaire

Background: The pressures of medical school can be extremely difficult for personal wellness and contribute to anxiety, burnout depression. High demands academic performance restraints extracurricular activities all add distress a student. Methodology: A cross sectional study using convenient sampling was carried out in students CPMC, Lahore. sample size 208 taken. data collected the SF-36 questionnaire. Data presented as percentages, frequencies, mean standard deviation. Results: score physical activity 61.35+27.02 SD. average due health hindrance emotional 38.58+37.49 SD 34.26+15.37 discomfort 59.57+27.70 Mean+SD vitality or tiredness 46.47+16.69 health, social relationships general fitness 51.10+16.64 SD, 52.82+21.57 54.04+18.76 Practical implication is observe enrolled MBBS program. Conclusion: questionnaire has been used past literature assessment well-being patients suffering from any particular disease. We observed that female participants had poor compared male participants.
